28th National Ophthalmology Course ( Turkish Ophthalmology Society April Course 2008) was held from April 11 through April 13 2008 with the participation of app. 1220 ophthalmologists in Sheraton Hotel Ankara. This year's main subject of April Course, which is organized every year in April by Ankara Office of Turkish Ophthalmology Society, was Retina Current Diagnosis and Medical Treatment. It was an appropriate beginning for BIEM ILAC to remind Eye Group products and to explain its continuous being with the new products which Biem will put into Turkish Medicine' s service.
31st Spring Symposium was held from May 2 through May 4 2008 at Cerrahpaşa Medicine Faculty Auditorium by Istanbul Office of Turkish Ophthalmology Society with the participation of app. 500 ophthalmologists. The symposium was held on behalf of Dr. Haluk ERKER and the main subject was ‘diabetes and eye'. There were six panels and one conference on diabetes and eye. BİEM İLAC attanded the related smposium with its Eye Group Products.
As part of the Scientific Meeting Programme of the year of 2008 held by Izmir Office of Turkish Ophthalmology Society, May Programme dated 29th May 2008, was performed with the assistance of BIEM ILAC. The meeting, whose main subject was ‘squint', was held at Ege University' Ataturk Culture Center, Izmir with the participation of app. 100 ophthalmologists.
